(WASHINGTON, D.C., 6/12/13) -- CAIR is urging voters to contact their members of Congress to request that they include anti-profiling protections in the immigration reform bill.
The Senate today voted to begin its floor debate on comprehensive immigration reform. The bill provides a pathway to citizenship for the nation's 11 million undocumented immigrants.
Action: Help CAIR Distribute Soft-Cover Qurans to Prisons in Time for Ramadan
(WASHINGTON, D.C., 6/5/13) -- CAIR has initiated distribution of soft-cover copies of the Holy Quran to prisons nationwide through our ongoing "Explore the Quran" initiative.
We are seeking sponsors for those Qurans and will make every effort to deliver them to prison libraries before the beginning of Ramadan. Please act today to ensure delivery by the first week of July.
Most prisons require soft covers on any books donated for inmates' use and Muslim inmates are in desperate need of spiritually-uplifting materials.
(5/24/2013) -- On May 23, Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD) and a dozen other senators introduced a bill that would prohibit the use of racial and religious profiling by federal and state law enforcement.
Take action: CAIR has provided a "click and send" letter for all Americans who oppose the unjust practice of discriminatory law enforcement profiling so they can contact their senators and urge support for S.1038, The End Racial Profiling Act of 2013.
