Book a CAIR Workshop

In an effort to better serve the community, CAIR National would like to extend our programs and support, free of charge, to non-profit organizations, mosques, youth groups, and community centers interested in hosting workshops in the DC Metropolitain area. Below are descriptions for some of the workshops we offer:

  1. "Know Your Rights": an interactive workshop for the Muslim community with one of CAIR’s attorneys discussing our rights as employees, students, travelers, or when interacting with law enforcement/FBI agents.
  2. Anti-Bullying: an interactive workshop designed to define identity-based bullying and introduce methods of appropriate response and prevention This workshop can be delivered in two formats: one for Muslim youth and the second for their parents/adult allies.
  3. "Working with the Media": an interactive workshop for community leaders and activists providing tools and skillsets around news interviews and how to address tough issues with the media.
  4. Civic Engagement Training: an interactive workshop for community leaders and activists to arm attendees with the skills and know-how to positivly engage local government and law enforcement.

CAIR’s department to monitor and combat Islamophobia tracks sources and incidents of Islamophobia across the country, creates dossiers on prominent Islamophobes, and produces factsheets to debunk false information that has been spread about Islam.
