CAIR Offers Condolences on Death of Tayyibah Taylor

Tayyibah-Taylor(WASHINGTON, D.C., 9/5/14) -- The board and staff of the Council on American-Islamic Relations today offered sincere condolences on the death of Tayyibah Taylor, founding editor-in-chief and publisher of Azizah Magazine.

"To God we belong and to Him we return," said CAIR National Communications Director. "Sister Tayyibah was a tireless leader and voice for American Muslim women and the entire community."

In 2013, CAIR presented Taylor with an "Excellence in Media Award" at its annual banquet in Arlington, Va.
