(Washington, D.C., 3/13/15) – On April 2, 2015, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) will co-sponsor a screening of The Muslims Are Coming! as part of a daylong anti-Islamophobia program entitled "Combating Islamophobia on Campus, in Our Community, and Around the World." The event is free and open to the public.
The daylong program will be held on the AACC campus and is intended to educate the audience on causes of Islamophobia and provide practical solutions to eradicate it from our communities.

A daytime panel discussion on "Women and Islam" will feature Dean Obeidallah and Negin Farsad, award-winning co-stars of the comedy documentary The Muslims Are Coming!, and CAIR Maryland Outreach Manager Zainab Chaudry. An afternoon screening of the film and a discussion/Q&A session will follow. The evening will conclude with a reception. The daylong program is free and open to the public.
Schedule of events:
12:30-1:30 – Panel discussion on women and Islam featuring Negin Farsad, Dean Obeidallah, Zainab Chaudry (representative of CAIR), and AACC faculty and students
4:00-6:00 – Screening of Negin and Dean's documentary film The Muslims Are Coming!
6:00-8:00 – Discussion/Q&A with Negin, Dean, and Zainab followed by a reception
