CAIR-Chicago to Host Rally at O'Hare Calling for End to Muslim Ban

(CHICAGO, IL 10/16/17) -- The Chicago chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Chicago) will be holding a rally and press conference on Wednesday, October 18th, at O'Hare International Airport alongside the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant & Refugee Rights, Advancing Justice Chicago, Syrian Community Network, Arab American Family Services, Chicago Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights, Arab American Action Network, the Jewish Council for Urban Affairs, Jewish Voices for Peace Chicago - along with other community partners - at a rally and press conference on October 18th, at O'Hare International Airport to protest the newest iteration of Trump's Muslim Ban going into effect.

The newest Muslim Ban, originally signed on September 25th, 2017, extended and made indefinite the blanket ban on 8 countries, all of which -- with the exception of Venezuela and North Korea -- are Muslim-majority countries. 

Parts of the Ban are expected to go into effect October 18th, so CAIR-Chicago will be hosting a rally at O'Hare International Airport along with allies and supporters to demand an end to the unjust Muslim Ban. Mark your calendars and come out in support of various advocacy groups, community members and affected populations in calling for an end to the Muslim Ban.
