(BALTIMORE, MD, 10/18/17) – Later today, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), in partnership with BMORE Indivisible, will host a #NoMuslimBanEver Town Hall to take a stand against the Trump administration's discriminatory policies and executive orders that are disproportionately impacting Muslims, immigrants and refugees. The event will feature members of Congress, local elected officials, impacted people, and interfaith leaders.

On Tuesday, the civil rights organization welcomed a Hawaii federal judge's decision to temporarily block the implementation of the controversial ban.
Judge Derrick K. Watson's decision means that for 14 days, the administration cannot restrict the entry of travelers from six of the eight countries targeted by the ban, which was to go into effect today.
CAIR is America's largest Muslim civil liberties and advocacy organization. Its mission is to protect civil liberties, empower American Muslims, and build coalitions that promote justice and mutual understanding.
