(WASHINGTON, D.C., 12/19/2022) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned an antisemitic sign posted in Moore County, N.C., on the first day of the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah.
On Sunday, a sign containing Nazi swastikas and antisemitic language was hung over a bridge along U.S. Highway 1 in Moore County. Authorities removed the sign and have launched an investigation.
