CAIR Condemns Neo-Nazi March in New Hampshire

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned a recent neo-Nazi march in Concord, New Hampshire

A group of masked men carrying Nazi swastika banners reportedly held a march in Concord on Saturday. Police are investigating an altercation that reportedly took place between one of the masked men and a bystander. No arrests were made at the time. The protest was held by Blood Tribe, a neo-Nazi group known for similar demonstrations across the country.

“We condemn this disgusting attempt to intimidate minority communities and to spread neo-Nazi hatred,” said CAIR National Communications Director Ibrahim Hooper. “Those who promote bigotry targeting minority communities must be repudiated by all Americans who value justice and equality.””

Hooper noted that CAIR recently condemned neo-Nazi vandalism targeting a Jewish museum in Oregon, racist vandalism in Tennessee and an alleged racist stabbing in Illinois.

He said CAIR and the American Muslim community stand in solidarity with all those challenging antisemitism, systemic anti-Black racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, white supremacy, and all other forms of bigotry.
