#CAIRSnapshots Video: In 2012, CAIR Coordinates Muslim Community's Response to String of Attacks on Mosques, Produces Mosque Safety Kit

(WASHINGTON, D.C., 10/23/19) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) today released the latest “CAIR Snapshots” video highlighting a quarter century of “defending, educating and empowering the American Muslim community.”

Today’s snapshot features how in 2012, CAIR coordinated the Muslim community’s response to a string of hate attacks on mosques during Ramadan and produced a booklet, called "Best Practices for Mosque and Community Safety,” offering security advice applicable to religious institutions.

The #CAIRSnapshots campaign is just one of many activities and initiatives leading up to CAIR’s 25th anniversary gala in Washington, D.C., on November 9.
