(WASHINGTON, D.C., 10/24/19) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) today released the latest “CAIR Snapshots” video highlighting a quarter century of “defending, educating and empowering the American Muslim community.”

Today’s snapshot features how in 2013, CAIR published "Legislating Fear: Islamophobia and its Impact in the United States" revealing that anti-Islam groups received more than $119 million in funding between 2008 and 2011.
The report also identified 37 organizations dedicated to promoting anti-Islam prejudice in America and more fully identifying the "Islamophobia network" and exposing its funding.

The #CAIRSnapshots campaign is just one of many activities and initiatives leading up to CAIR’s 25th anniversary gala in Washington, D.C., on November 9.
Online registration is open for the gala with special guest Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), political commentator Dean Obeidallah, activist and community leader Linda Sarsour, State Representative Movita Johnson-Harrell (D-PA), and motivational speaker Abderraoof Alkhawaldeh.
