(OKLAHOMA CITY, OK, 9/11/2014) – – This evening, the Oklahoma Chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-OK) will co-sponsor an event on the anniversary of 9/11 to help promote dialogue and mutual understanding among faith groups.

This event is co-sponsored by CAIR-OK, Emmanuel Synagogue, the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City, St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, and Temple B’nai Israel. Faith leaders that will be featured on the panel discussion include Rev. Wendy Lambert, Rabbi Vered Harris and Dr. Imam Imad Enchassi.
“The 9/11 terror attacks will forever be remembered as one of the most tragic days in the history of America,” said CAIR-OK Executive Director Adam Soltani. “On this date we hoping to foster dialogue among various faith traditions and discuss how we can work together towards peace in our state and country.”
