(SAN ANTONIO, TX, 4/3/14) — The San Antonio chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-SA), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today offered condolences to the loved ones of those killed in a deadly shooting spree yesterday at Fort Hood in Texas.
“Muslims, like Texans of all faiths, offer their condolences to the loved ones of those whose lives were taken in yesterday’s tragedy,” said CAIR-San Antonio President Sarwat Husain.
Husain also expressed hope for the speedy recovery of those wounded in the attack.
CAIR is America’s largest Muslim civil liberties and advocacy organization. Its mission is to enhance the understanding of Islam, encourage dialogue, protect civil liberties, empower American Muslims, and build coalitions that promote justice and mutual understanding.
