I am writing with long awaited good news — after six years of legal limbo and more than a decade of political persecution, yesterday, United States District Judge Anthony J. Trenga signed the order dismissing the indictment against Dr. Sami Al-Arian. Alhamdulillah!
Many activists, allies, community organizations and individuals have supported Dr. Al-Arian and his family through this harrowing trial. CAIR is but one of them. This is a victory for the entire community, but of course most of all the Al-Arian family.

Deportation from the US remains an imminent threat for Dr. Al-Arian, and so we ask that you please keep him and his family in your duaas.
