CAIR-AZ to Host 'American (while) Muslim' Conference at ASU

CAIR-AZ-confThe CAIR-AZ Team is excited to announce what promises to be an epic one-day conference, called "American (while) Muslim," at Arizona State University.

This conference is packed with great leaders and experts from across the country, and from our local community as well. The panels and speeches promise to be thought-provoking, educational and empowering.
Confirmed speakers at the conference:

  • Zahra Billoo - Grassroots civil rights activist and executive director of CAIR's San FranciscoBay Area chapter
  • Remziya Suleyman - Muslim American activist and community leader from Murfreesboro, Tenn., and director of the American Center for Outreach in Tenn.
  • Hassan Shibly - Attorney, community leader and executive director of CAIR-Tampa
  • Trevor Aaronson (via satellite) - Investigative Journalist - al-Jazeera America, and author of The Terror Factory

In addition to these great speakers, we will also be featuring leaders from the local Arizona community to give their valuable perspective on our panels.
