(BALTIMORE, MD, 2/8/19) – On Monday, February 25, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, will partner with the Prince George’s County Muslim Council (PGCMC) to host the first annual “Maryland Muslim Lobby Day at the Capital” in Annapolis.

Lobby Day participants will meet with lawmakers and their staff to discuss issues that impact the Maryland Muslim community such as increasing hate crimes, workplace discrimination and immigration policy.
Maryland Muslim Lobby Day at the Capital is one of a number of similar events CAIR is hosting in state capitals nationwide.
