CAIR: Muslim Team to Take Part in D.C. 'Race for the Cure'


On Saturday, June 7, a team of Muslims sponsored by a prominent national Islamic civil rights and advocacy group will help raise breast cancer awareness by taking part in the Susan G. Komen National Race for the Cure (see also Council on American-Islamic Relations).

The Muslim team, sponsored by the Council on American-Islamic Relations, will carry its own "Muslims Care" banner and many of the women participants will wear pink Islamic head scarves symbolizing breast cancer awareness. [SEE: http://www.nationalraceforthecure.org/ Team Name: MLM Muslims CAIR]
