As-salaamu alaykum (peace be upon you).

Dear friends,

GREAT NEWS: According to CAIR’s analysis of the Factiva database, there have been 54,857 media mentions of Ramadan in the past month. That amazing figure is in stark contrast to the figure of 314 media mentions of Ramadan in 1994, when CAIR first began assisting Muslim communities nationwide through distribution of our first “Ramadan Publicity Kit.” These kits, distributed on an annual basis, are now called “CAIR’s Sharing Ramadan Resource Guide” and contain media relation tips, information about Ramadan, news release templates, and creative ideas for Ramadan events.

These and all other CAIR outreach initiatives require resources to produce a result.

We have been inspired by the tremendous support and generosity shown to CAIR this Ramadan by true friends and supporters of CAIR. We set a seasonal fundraising goal of $780,000 — and we are almost there. We need just $180,000 to put us over the top.

These funds are needed to help the thousands of Muslims CAIR assists every day. They count on us to do this work for them, and we count on you so that we can continue to do so. Let’s not end Ramadan before achieving our goal.

We know that many of you have given already this month, and we are inspired by your generosity and service.

If all of our friends and supporters on this list can give a little more, thousands of community members will be grateful because CAIR will have the resources to serve them this season.

Please take a minute to click here and make a zakat-eligible and tax-deductible donation so that we may reach our goal today, before the end of Ramadan.

Consider giving $25, $50, $100, $250, $500, $1,000, $2,500, $5,000, $10,000, or whatever you can. Any contribution, no matter how small or large, is appreciated.

We can’t reach our goal without your help.

Thank you for your support and may Allah bless and protect you and your family.
