CAIR handles civil rights complaints that do not currently have CAIR local chapters that provide legal services. Please go to https://www.cair.com/chapters to find your local CAIR chapter.
CAIR generally handles civil rights cases on behalf of Muslims and others who have experienced religious discrimination.
CAIR generally does not accept cases that involve domestic matters (divorce, child custody, wills, etc), landlord/tenant disputes, criminal matters, and contractual disputes.
If you believe your complaint falls within the scope of our work, please provide any and all documents in connection with your complaint to [email protected]. If you believe that your complaint may have an urgent legal deadline, please respond to this email with “Urgent” in the subject line. However, please keep in mind that unless CAIR agrees to take your case, you are solely responsible for any and all statutes of limitations or deadlines.
