Jinan Shbat is National Events and Outreach Manager at the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation's largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization.
Ms. Shbat is a public speaker, poet, and community advocate who works on issues related to Islamophobia, bullying in schools, and gender dynamics in American Muslim communities. She has focused most of her activism around humanitarian work, specifically the Syrian and Palestinian causes.
