“We are deeply concerned about the ethnic cleansing that is happening in Burma and urge all Oregonians to come together to support the Rohingya community. Oregon is home to many Rohingya families who faced persecution in Burma. We need to show our Rohingya community that we have love for them and their families by participating in this event,” said CAIR-Oregon Spokesperson Zakir Khan.

CAIR recently issued an action alert urging Americans of all faiths and backgrounds to take part in the following actions to increase American and international pressure on the Burmese government.
