(SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ, 3/14/16) â€“ More than 200 people turned out on Saturday in Edison, N.J., for the 11th annual banquet of New Jersey chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-NJ).
Banquet speakers included Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-NJ), CAIRâ€™s Los Angeles Executive Director Hussam AlyloushÂ and lmam Zaid Shakir. Entertainment was provided by comedian Eman Morgan.
â€œWe wish to thank everyone who made our annual banquet a great success and also thank all those who have supported CAIR-NJ through their generous contributions so that we can continue in our vital civil rights and advocacy work,â€ said CAIR-NJ Executive Director Jim Sues.
