CAIR and Coalition Partners to Host Live Program ‘Bring Them Home: Stranded in Yemen’

(WASHINGTON, DC., 8/04/20) – Today, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, along with coalition partners will host a live program at 5 p.m. (ET) on Facebook and YouTube titled “Bring Them Home: Stranded in Yemen.”

The program “Bring Them Home: Stranded in Yemen” invites viewers to learn about Americans stranded in Yemen, what to do if they know someone stranded in Yemen, and how they can help. This event will be in both English and Arabic. 

Speakers include Mohamed Taleb from Asian Americans Advancing Justice Asian Law Caucus, Jehan Hakim from Yemeni Alliance Committee, Mohamed Atia from Yemeni American Association as interpreter, and Dr. Debbie Almontaser Yemeni American Merchants Association as the host.
