(WASHINGTON, D.C., 6/28/19) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) today began marking its 25th anniversary as the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization with the release of the first “CAIR Snapshots” video highlighting a quarter century of “empowering, educating and defending the American Muslim community.”
CAIR’s first video snapshot noted the launch of the Washington-based civil rights organization in June of 1994.
It will be followed by a series of other videos and activities in coming months leading up to CAIR’s 25th anniversary gala in Washington, D.C., on November 9.
