(SACRAMENTO, CA, 11/20/2007) – The California chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations today condemned a series of recent acts of anti-Semitic vandalism targeting the Jewish community on college campuses.
The acts of vandalism occurred at California State University, San Jose and University of California, Davis as Jewish students were celebrating the holiday of Shalosh Regalim. At both campuses outdoor shelters known as Sukkah’s were vandalized.
