Robo-call campaign will reach 13,521 Muslim voter households and nearly 20,000 additional likely voters and new registrants before Election Day
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, and its Michigan chapter (CAIR-Michigan), today announced the launch of a major statewide voter outreach campaign encouraging participation in Michigan’s Midterm Primary Election on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.
The effort includes a robo-call campaign conducted tonight by Molitico that will reach 13,521 Muslim Michigan voter households with landlines, representing approximately 29,000 mail-ballot recipients, as well as an additional 19,612 likely voters and newly registered voters across the state.
The voter outreach campaign comes as Michigan voters prepare to cast ballots in primary elections that will help determine candidates for Governor, United States Senate, and the United States House of Representatives, among other offices.
The robo-call campaign delivers a simple message: participate, make your voice heard, and vote.
CAIR and CAIR-Michigan are encouraging all eligible voters to verify their registration, locate their polling place, learn about upcoming elections, and create a voting plan through CAIR’s national voter engagement platform, Muslims.Vote.

In a statement, CAIR and CAIR-Michigan said:
“American Muslims are an increasingly influential voting bloc in Michigan and throughout the nation. This outreach effort is designed to ensure that Muslim voters have the information they need to participate in tomorrow’s primary election. Civic engagement is a responsibility, and voting remains one of the most effective ways for our communities to advocate for justice, civil rights, and policies that affect our daily lives. We encourage every eligible voter to make their voice heard at the ballot box.”
Michigan is home to one of the nation’s largest and most politically engaged Muslim communities. Recent elections have demonstrated the growing importance of Muslim voter participation in shaping electoral outcomes at the local, state, and national levels.
Muslims.Voteserves as a one-stop hub for voter registration verification, polling place lookup, election information, voting rights resources, and civic engagement tools.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, CAIR does not endorse or oppose any candidate for public office and does not encourage voters to support or oppose any political party. CAIR encourages eligible voters to participate in the democratic process and make informed decisions based on the issues most important to them and their communities.
