CAIR, CAIR-Texas to Host Hispanic Heritage Month Virtual Panel as Part of Diversity Campaign

(WASHINGTON D.C., 10/7/2021) – On Monday, October 11th at 8:45 p.m. EST, The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and CAIR’s Austin, Dallas Fort Worth, and Houston, Texas chapters will be hosting a virtual panel in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. The panel is part of CAIR’s wider Diversity Campaign. 

The panel will feature:

  • Ambreen Hernandez, Director of Operations at CAIR Houston
  • Nahela Morales, Motivational Speaker, Bayan Graduate Student, CAIR Texas Austin, and DFW board member
  • Imam Wesley Lebron, Imam of MAS NY and lead coordinator for Reverts Reconnect
  • Imam Daniel Abdullah Hernandez, Imam of the Islamic Center of Lehigh Valley
