“As the 2024 Democratic National Convention approaches, it is imperative that the voices of American Muslims be heard on issues that are critical to all Americans. Specifically, our communities and many diverse American communities have deep concerns regarding our government’s support for blatant breaches of international human rights law and crimes against humanity by foreign state actors, rampant censorship at home, and the rise in Islamophobia and hate crimes. Our voices must be heard now more than ever to ensure our safety, uphold our sacred commitment to freedom of speech and put our American values and communities first.”

NOTE: As a 501(c)3 nonprofit, CAIR does not endorse or oppose candidates for office, and makes no claims as to the favorability of one candidate being elected over another.

CAIR’s mission is to protect civil rights, enhance understanding of Islam, promote justice, and empower American Muslims.
