(WASHINGTON, DC – 8/5/2022) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned an unprovoked Israeli bombing attack on the Gaza Strip that killed numerous civilians, including a 5-year-old girl, and called on the Biden Administration to demand an end to the violence.

In a statement, CAIR National Deputy Director Edward Ahmed Mitchell said:
“We strongly condemn the Israeli apartheid government for bombing the besieged Gaza Strip and murdering numerous Palestinian civilians, including a five-year-old child. The Biden administration must intervene to stop these war crimes and hold the Israeli government accountable for murdering innocent people, from this five-year-old girl to American citizen and journalist Shireen Abu Akleh.”
