In a statement, CAIR National Communications Director Ibrahim Hooper said:
“This hateful and racist propaganda has no place in any community. It is a stark reminder that white supremacist ideologies continue to pose a serious threat to marginalized communities and to equality and inclusion nationwide. Community members of every belief and background must also come together to reject bigotry in all its forms.”
He noted that last month, CAIR condemned a march by armed neo-Nazis in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Also last month, CAIR condemned the bias-motivated vandalism of a Hindu temple’s sign in Greenwood, Indiana
Hooper said Washington, D.C., based CAIR and the American Muslim community stand in solidarity with all those challenging antisemitism, systemic anti-Black racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, white supremacy, and all other forms of bigotry.
CAIR’s mission is to protect civil rights, enhance understanding of Islam, promote justice, and empower American Muslims.
La misión de CAIR es proteger las libertades civiles, mejorar la comprensión del Islam, promover la justicia, y empoderar a los musulmanes en los Estados Unidos.
