(HARTFORD, CT, 6/8/2022) – The Connecticut chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-CT) today condemned white supremacist flyers distributed in Bristol.
The flyers, which advertised a white supremacist organization, were found scattered Ohio drive yesterday. The flyers were discovered by Public Works workers, who reported them to the police. Police have reportedly launched an investigation.
“We condemn this attempt to spread hate and bigotry and intimidate the residents of Bristol,” said CAIR-CT Board Chair Farhan Memon. “We thank law enforcement for launching an investigation.”
He said CAIR and the American Muslim community stand in solidarity with all those challenging anti-Semitism, anti-Black racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, and white supremacy.
