CAIR-Houston to React to Arabic Immersion Magnet School Protest

Arabic Immersion Magnet School Protest(HOUSTON, TEXAS, 8/24/15) – Later today, the Houston office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Houston) will hold a media availability to offer the Muslim community’s reaction to a protest today at the opening of Houston Independent School District's new Arabic Immersion Magnet School.

A number of people surrounded the perimeter of the school this morning waving American and Israeli flags while carrying Islamophobic signs with slurs such as, “Everything I ever cared to know about Islam was taught to me by Muslims on 9-11-2001.”
