On May 18, CAIR-Chicago will moderate a meeting with government officials who will explain some of the reasons behind delays in processing applications for citizenship. They will also explain what the government can and cannot do in terms of these delays. Although the officials will not be able to answer questions about specific cases, they will have forms on hand for anyone who wishes to file an inquiry on their case.
Intake will be performed on-site for members of the community who wish to discuss their experience of citizenship delay.
