CAIR-Ohio: Cleveland City Council passes Gaza ceasefire resolution after sustained protests at meetings
In a statement, the Ohio chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations called the resolution “a testament to the people of Cleveland’s will and determination to speak out against injustice and inhumanity.” The chapter gave credit to the organizations that had lobbied council for months on a ceasefire statement.
CAIR-WA: Somali UW students receive racist letter, call for change – Fox
The Washington chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-WA) says the UW Seattle Somali Student Association received a letter on March 13, during the first few days of Ramadan, which included the phrase, “go back to whatever s***hole you came from,” among other profanity.
