CAIR-LA to Host ‘Axis of Evil’ Comedy Troupe Performance


(ANAHEIM, CA, 5/10/07) – The Los Angeles Area chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-LA) today announced that it will host an evening of entertainment featuring a performance by the “Axis of Evil” comedy troupe on May 19, 2007.

CAIR-LA’s “Entertainment Night for Civil Rights” is intended to celebrate significant progress on civil rights issues made by the American Muslim community and to renew its commitment to the civil rights work that lies ahead.

WHEN: Saturday, May 19, from 6 to 10 p.m.
WHERE: The Heritage Forum, 201 E. Broadway Ave., Anaheim, CA

“The ‘Entertainment Night for Civil Rights’ is a unique opportunity for American Muslims to reaffirm their commitment to upholding the civil rights for all Americans through a fun, lively evening filled with comedy,” said CAIR-LA executive director Hussam Ayloush.

All proceeds will benefit CAIR’s efforts in civil rights.
