CAIR-MA: Third Annual Massachusetts ‘Open Mosque Day’ to Be Held on April 28

(BOSTON, MA, 04/24/19) – On Sunday, April 28, 18 mosques across Massachusetts will take part in the third annual “Open Mosque Day” to provide an opportunity for the wider public to meet their Muslim neighbors. The theme of this year’s event, organized by CAIR-Massachusetts and the Islamic Council of New England, is “No Walls Between Us.”

Attendees will have the opportunity to tour a mosque, hear a brief introduction to Islam, and observe a Muslim prayer service.

“We welcome our neighbors to see firsthand what a mosque looks like and to enjoy the hospitality of our Muslim community,” said Martin Bentz, the event’s organizer. “When you meet a Muslim face-to-face, you will see for yourself that there are truly no walls between us.”
