(BALTIMORE, MD, 9/15/17) — On Sunday, September 17, the Maryland Outreach Department of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and a coalition of at least 20 Maryland Muslim organizations and will hold a rally to educate, raise awareness and provide calls to action to end the ethnic cleansing targeting Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar.

“We are increasingly concerned by the plight of the Rohingya people and urge all people of conscience to attend this rally and learn how they can help call for an end to the ethnic cleansing taking place in Myanmar,” said CAIR Spokesperson Dr. Zainab Chaudry.
CAIR recently issued an action alert urging Americans of all faiths and backgrounds to take part in the following actions to increase American and international pressure on the Burmese government.
