(MINNEAPOLIS, MN, 6/12/2016) -Â The Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MN) today joined, theÂ Minnesota Muslim community inÂ condemningÂ the horrific mass shooting at an Orlando nightclub.
“Minnesota Muslims condemn in theÂ strongest possible terms the mass shooting in Orlando,” said Jaylani Hussein, Executive Director of the Minnesota Chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations.Â “We offer ourÂ heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of all those killed or injured”Â
The LGBTQ community has stood side by side with the American Muslim community during challenging and difficult times. We stand together against hatred, violence and demonization of entire communities.Â
