(NEW YORK, NY, 11/26/18) – On Wednesday, November 28, the New York chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-NY), faith leaders, and elected officials will hold a press conference ahead of oral arguments on a motion to dismiss CAIR-NY’s federal class action lawsuit against the NYPD.
News conference participants will call on Mayor de Blasio to end the NYPD policy of forcing suspects to remove religious attire when they are arrested.
