Habrock. “We hope this resource will encourage and empower more citizens to vote in the upcoming November 6th election.”
The General Election Candidate Guide provides information about how to find one’s district and polling station, biographical information and the stances of candidates in districts surrounding mosques and Islamic centers. These guides are intended to be used as an educational tool and do not endorse any individual candidate.
The State Question Guide informs readers on the initiatives that will appear on everyone’s ballot, a breakdown of what each question means and CAIR-OK’s stance on some of the Questions.
“The key to a healthy democracy is education and a sense of empowerment to exercise one’s rights,” Habrock said.
