(SAN DIEGO, CA, 11/20/15) â€“ The San Diego office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-SD) has received multiple complaints about an assault that allegedly occurred yesterday afternoon at the San Diego State University campus.Â According to reports, a female Muslim student was attacked, hate statements were made and her headscarf (hijab) was pulled off.

The incident may be related to the backlash against the American Muslim community since the recent terror attacks in Paris.
