CAIR-Texas to Join Interfaith and Community Leaders in Response to Rep. Biedermann’s Islamophobic ‘Survey’

CAIR logo(SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS, 1/24/17) – On Thursday, January 26, the CAIR-TX chapters of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (San Antonio, Austin, Houston and Dallas) will join interfaith and community leaders at a news conference in the State Capitol Building to address Rep. Kyle Biedermann’s Islamophobic “survey†sent to mosque leaders and Muslim student associations throughout Texas.

CAIR’s Texas Muslim Capitol Day is designed to bring Muslims to the Capitol to learn about the political process and to meet lawmakers.

 CAIR is America’s largest Muslim civil liberties and advocacy organization.  Its mission is to enhance the understanding of Islam, encourage dialogue, protect civil liberties, empower American Muslims, and build coalitions that promote justice and mutual understanding.
