CAIR to Co-Sponsor D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser’s Annual Ramadan Iftar Dinner

(WASHINGTON D.C., 4/10/23) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, is proud to announce its co-sponsorship of Mayor Muriel Bowser’s Annual Ramadan Iftar Dinner hosted by the National Center for Juvenile Justice Reform. The event will take place tomorrow night, on April 11, 2023.

The Ramadan Iftar Dinner is an important occasion in which Mayor Bowser and her staff can share a meal with members of the Muslim community during the holy month of Ramadan.

The event will provide an opportunity for attendees to break their fast together, share stories and experiences and build new relationships.

“We are proud to be a part of this Ramadan celebration with Mayor Bowser’s office and the National Center for Juvenile Justice Reform, and look forward to continuing our work to promote dialogue and understanding between communities of all backgrounds,” said CAIR Director of Government Affairs Department Robert S. McCaw.
