(WASHINGTON, D.C., 5/6/19) – On Mother’s Day, May 12, the Council on American-Islamic relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights organization, will join the Alliance for Family Reunification, Immigrant Justice Now, Military Families for Families, and MamÃ¡sConPoder/MomsRising, along with their coalition partners* will hold a #MotherofExiles rally on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., to call for an end to immigrant family separation and child detention.
