(WASHINGTON, D.C., 1/4/2019) – On Thursday, January 10, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, will host a “Community Congressional Reception” at the Hyatt Crystal City in Arlington, Va., featuring newly sworn-in members of Congress AndrÃ© Carson (D-IN), Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI).
All three representatives will be present to offer remarks on issues of importance to members of the Muslim community and to all Americans. The reception is free of charge. Seating is limited. RSVP (by 3 p.m. Tuesday, January 8) is required. Photo ID required at check-in. Light refreshments will be served.
