(WASHINGTON, D.C, 12/15/21) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today said it will release a new Islamophobia report in January 2022.
Embargoed copies of the report are available to mainstream media. (Embargoed until actual release of report.)
“This report is a testament to the growing level of Islamophobia in the United States from all corners of society,” said CAIR National Research and Advocacy Coordinator Huzaifa Shahbaz. “It is imperative to expose the ways Islamophobia is manifested in society at a time when anti-Muslim rhetoric from civic leaders is considered socially acceptable. Islamophobia is not going away anytime soon, and we must all do our part to combat anti-Muslim racism in all its forms.”

CAIR’s mission is to protect civil rights, enhance understanding of Islam, promote justice, and empower American Muslims.
