(WASHINGTON, D.C., 8/25/20) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is urging Muslim community members nationwide to participate in Friday’s (Aug. 27) National Muslim Voter Registration Day (#NMVRD2021), a nationally coordinated effort of grassroots Muslim organizations to reach and register thousands of Muslim voters and create awareness around our collective civic power.
CAIR, the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, is a national partner of MPower Change’s #MyMuslimVote campaign — a national, non-partisan campaign focused on increasing civic engagement in American Muslim communities through voter registration, engagement, and mobilization efforts.
CAIR chapters in Arizona, California, Chicago, Georgia, Florida, New York, Philadelphia, and Texas will be hosting local voting registration activities.
