CAIR’s 22nd Annual Banquet is Sold Out

CAIR logo(WASHINGTON, D.C., 12/16/16) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, announced tonight that its 22nd annual banquet on December 17 in Arlington, Va., is sold out.

[IMPORTANT NOTE: No tickets will be sold at the door. Banquet ticket-holders are encouraged to arrive early to register (Registration opens at5:30 p.m.) and to clear security. “We thank everyone who made this banquet possible and ask those who cannot attend to donate so that CAIR has the resources needed to push back against the possible erosion of civil rights in the coming years,†said CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad.

With the theme “Uniting America: Building Bridges, Not Walls,” the evening banquet will feature Gold Star father and constitutional activist Khizr Khan and his wife Ghazala Khan, Linda Sarsour, executive director of the Arab American Association of New York, and Dalia Mogahed, director of research at the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding in Washington, D.C. Banquet attendees will be entertained by comedian Preacher Moss and will meet the recipients of CAIR's Community Service Awards.
