Today’s snapshot features how in 2007, CAIR published “A Journalist’s Guide to Islam” for media professionals and launched an advertiser campaign against hate radio host Michael Savage for his Islamophobic rants.

The #CAIRSnapshots campaign is just one of many activities and initiatives leading up to CAIR’s 25th anniversary gala in Washington, D.C., on November 9. Fifty tickets are available (until Oct. 11) for registered college students for $50 each. (Student ID and email address required.)
Oct. 15 is the extended deadline for Muslim, interfaith and civil rights businesses and organizations in the Washington, D.C., Virginia and Maryland area (and nationwide) to sponsor a table or place an advertisement in the program book.
