COMMUNITY ADVISORY Today: CAIR’s ‘Daily Dose’ COVID-19 Conversation to Discuss ‘Charity During a Pandemic: Local and International Relief Efforts’

(WASHINGTON, DC., 5/6/20) – Today, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, will host another live 30-minute “Daily Dose: COVID Conversations with CAIR” at 3 p.m. (ET) on Facebook and YouTube.

Today’s program is themed Charity During a Pandemic: Local and International Relief Efforts” with guests:

  • President of the Islamic Society of Baltimore (ISB) Dr. Ed Tori
  • Co-Founder and Director of Healthcare of Paani Project Omar Ilyas

Today’s program will discuss how to become involved in relief efforts during the pandemic.

Daily Dose episodes will be live at 3 p.m. (ET) to accommodate Ramadan. 

Future daily programs will feature spiritual leaders, health care professionals, counselors, experts, community advocates, and CAIR leaders from around the country.
