Community Alert: Join CAIR, MD Jewish Groups to Assemble ‘Blessing Bags’ for Homeless on Governor’s Day to Serve

CAIR logo(WASHINGTON, D.C., 9/21/16) – On Monday, September 26, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, will join with Maryland’s Jewish community to assemble “blessing bags†for the homeless.

WHEN: Monday, September 26, 5:30 p.m.

The event will include an interfaith discussion on social justice facilitated by the Institute for Islamic, Christian and Jewish Studies (ICJS).

Day to Serve

CAIR is America's largest Muslim civil liberties and advocacy organization. Its mission is to enhance the understanding of Islam, encourage dialogue, protect civil liberties, empower American Muslims, and build coalitions that promote justice and mutual understanding.
